We transformed 1960’s era mechanic’s warehouse in the Wairau Valley into a modern retail and restaurant development in an 18-month project.

We started in 2020 with the strip-out and demolition of smaller buildings on the site so we could have clear access to install a new steel structure to support the saw-tooth roof. This allowed the tenancies to have open floor plans while keeping the building’s industrial look.

We built a large extension on the front, a dark-stained wooden shop front, and a glazed canopy.

We replaced all the drainage and services and installed a new polished concrete floor slab throughout. The final touch was an asphalt car park with space for 130 vehicles.
